Well after Ryan completing his exam and what not we caught the eurostar under the English channel and into Belgium. It took us into the heart of Brussels where we were staying for two nights until we were going to ride to Brugge.

Eurostar from London, England to Brussels, Belgium at EveryTrailMap created by EveryTrail:GPS Geotagging

We went to a “young people’s” information center and it turned out to be one of the best things we could have done. The lady there told us where we can get bikes and organised accommodation in Gent for us. We had to catch a train to Kortrijk where we were to buy our bikes and then cycle onto Gent, but before all this we had a few days in Brussels to look around.

The first night we went out on the town and sampled many of the beers that Belgium is known for. Compared to English Beer, Belgium Beer is far better and stronger. This led to an expensive evening, now we are eating soup.

But before the eating of soup there were many Kababs which we lived off in Brussels for a few days. On our tourist day out we walked around Brussels center which was very accessible from our hostel. We went to a Brewery which brews its beers like wine and lets them ferment for 3 years, it sorted of tasted like wine but with a old barrel taste.

After the brewery we saw many churches and stuff, to write it all down would take to long so I am only going to write stuff in that impressed me.

Ryan had been taking all the photo’s, I am a bit photoed out after the last year and a bit on the cruise ship. So I will upload those as we go to flickr.
