I really like Columbia, there are a few very rich people (any one want to guess how they made their money?) and the rest of the country is poor…..really poor. But there is a lot of construction going on and apparently the government is doing what it is meant to do.

We went on a tour up to a monastery that overlooks the whole of cartahania (spelling incorrect but I will get the right spelling soon). And then down to look at the main city where we got to buy more stuff and see some of the church’s and the remains of a saint something (I will find out his name). I also drank lots of coffee and looked at the emeralds which turn out to be really expensive and the best in the world.

A lot of passengers complained that the poor people shocked them……..as if there wasn’t poor people where they came from. Also I got to dispatch 800 people on one tour from the stardust theatre which was interesting because about 100 were German and needed translating.
