The Baths at Virgin Gorda

I haven’t been to the baths in about 7 months or so and it was good to go there again. We all agreed that it is probably one of the best beaches we have seen and we got some good underwater photos.

The ferry ride took about 45 min but Kylie and Shagun didn’t get sea sick which was good. My favorite restaurant in the Caribbean overlooks the baths, they make a good drink and have one of the best views I have seen.

It was also nice to not be taking photos, In the last year I had taken about 4500 photos and it was good to have Shagun and Kylie taking all the photos. I will just copy them but I doubt they will be as good……

We also have reservations for the Mexican restaurant which should be nice, except Shagun dosen’t eat Mexican, or much of anything else, im not sure how Kylie puts up with him.

oh-o, no photos, I will have to get them off kylie and shagun…..shagun send me the photos, I know your reading this because you have nothing else to do.

I have finally had a chance to put more photos up, you can see them at flickr. everything is still good here and i will write a bigger post soon. just about to have lunch though.

It is only 2 more weeks until we go through the panama canal and very one is excited.

I am looking forward to uploading the rest of my photos, the map which shows everywhere I have been will look sweet. I should get a chance in Cozumel when we get there again next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Tortola is still part of the commonwealth and has not become independent. I asked why and the tour guide said that all countries that become independent have become really, really poor after that. Which from what I can see is partially true or they are just getting on their feet now after 20-30 years.

Much of the land and islands in BVI are privitaly owned, I got to see Richard Bransons island which was big. I went on a jeep tour of BVI which ended at a really nice beach. The tour was good and you got taken over the whole island. Land is cheep there but what costs the money is building the houses. Also there are houses all over the place which donâ€™t have the roofs finished on them, this is because they donâ€™t have to pay tax on the house if the roof isnâ€™t on.

Now we are on our way back to Miami, then we repeat the 5 day cruise. I think we do this a few times before we make the transition through the panama canal to LA, then up to Canada and finally Alaska.
