We docked at Belize today, the second stop on our 5 day cruise. Belize is part of the commonwealth and only recently gained independence (25 years ago). It is quite small and relies on tourists.

Because of the coral we cant dock at their port so all the passengers need to be tendered (moved by small boat) from the ship to the shore. So in the morning I was leading people to the tenders around the boat and make sure everyone got to their correct tours. Once everyone was gone I decided to go on the dolphin encounter tour.

We were taken out by boat to a small set I islands and shown around the place. Then we were taken to the dolphin enclosure which was a natural lagoon. One of the dolphin trainers was from Perth, which I thought was funny. Anyway the dolphins were cool and I got to touch them and one kissed me which was different.

After that I went back to the boat and have finished for the day, except tonight I am going to do the “Norwegian way” in the stardust theatre, not sure exactly what this is but it happens at the end of every cruise. I think it is dancing and stuff……I will let you know.

Tomorrow we sail back to Miami, past Cuba and then to dock. The next cruise is a 9 day one with 5 stops. It is going to be really busy, but I think we are going to a lot of ports and will be really good. I cant remember what ports but it is more sun.

(p.s. i am having trouble uploading photos to flickr, i will talk to the IT guys today and see what they can do)
