marathon flight from Perth, Australia to London, England

I have been on many flights over the last few years, I am not sure how many times I would have been around the world but it has to be a few. This flight was long, we flew from Perth, Australia to Hong Kong which took 7 hours, then had a 7 hour stop over in Hong Kong.

We then boarded Swiss Air for a 12 hour flight to Zurich, once in Zurich it was a mad dash to get to our next flight which was only 2 hours to London. In the future I think I will look for a more direct flight, I think the A380’s fly direct. That would be golden.

We got our new schedule through and I will be leaving the Norwegian Pearl on the 17th of June which is next month. So that is very soon. I will then be at home on holiday for 5 weeks and then I will be heading back to the Norwegian Star which is currently in Alaska with us on the 21 of July. The Norwegian Star will be in Alaska for two months after I get on it, then it will head down to the Mexican Riviera for 8 day cruises which cruise out of LA (dam it) then to Acapulco for a overnight (oh-o), Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas ( I wont have GI this time).

So I will see everyone in three and a bit weeks. Maybe I should have a partyâ€¦â€¦but I am a bit partied outâ€¦â€¦..just jokingâ€¦â€¦but not really.

christmas eve at the left bank

christmas eve was fun, we started in the morning at morgans house for a champaign breakfast. Then we moved down to the leftbank at about 1:00pm for the rest of the day…..until midnight.

I only managed to take about 8 photos the whole day, and it would have been a good opp to take allot more because there wereÂ so many people there that we new. maybe next year.

I have uploaded the photos i did take to flickr, if you have any others please e-mail them to me, there was allot of flashing going on so someone must have heaps of photos.

We all went to dinner for katies birthday last night, it was fun and i am glad i didn’t go to bennies after because i had to get up at 6 and go to the army.

fun in the leftbank

After the air race we went to the left bank to catch up with a few people (you can see them in the photos). It was good fun, they had a model competition on. We were still wearing the promo shirts from the Redbull Air Show during the day so that made things interesting.

I went home early because i was sleepy after army on saturday for the rockingham spring thingo.

condomtoyourdoor.com launched on Sunday the 19.11.06 at the Redbull Air Show, it was a big day with between 800-900 condoms being handed out. There are some good photos on flickr from the day.

last night was mikas 21st birthday, my head hurts a bit but its not to bad.

I think the best bit was when ryan was told to stop dancing with geordie and mikas 16 year old cousin. gold.

this weekend we are going paint balling, should be a fun day. I am looking forward to shooting a number of people. should be a good day.

i think it is all of us against deanos friends, should be interesting because i think they have done it a few times. anyway we have Sam and deano and then allot of cannon fodder…….so we should be right.

back from melbourne

I have just landed back from Melbourne, i have some photos and videos of the stand. It was a good week, we got lots of leads and spoke to some interesting people. Melbourne has a better night life than i originally thought, although i haven’t really spent a extended amount of time there so it was good to be there for a week.

That is it for the expo’s this year, next year we will be having 5-6 expos so it will be a big one.

i will have photos of the stand uploaded soon, and maybe even some video.

i am at manufacturing technology in focus in sunny Melbourne for the next week. It is day 1 of the expo and all is going well. We have had allot of interesting people which is good. There is a party on tonight in the convention center. Only two days left and i will be back on Friday night.
